On May 9th we waved signs and gave out pamphlets at Robson St. and Denman St., and covered three of four corners with our signs - the NDP took the fourth corner - with a great response from passing traffic and pedestrians.
On May 8th all candidates were invited to host tables and meet residents in the West End Community Centre. We set up inside – but because Vancouver has summer-like weather, we were all happy to get outside for some sign-waving, too!

On April 8th I was given an official tour of St. Paul's Hospital, joined by Vancouver City Councillor Adriane Carr, to learn about the challenges St. Paul's faces as the only downtown hospital in a space that's far too small. St. Paul's Hospital has been promised desperately-needed funding for many years – a broken promise that hasn't been fulfilled.

On March 28th I attended the Burgundy Luncheon Club, a weekly event hosted by Rick Peterson, to hear a presentation by Jane Sterk, leader of the BC Green Party. I was a speaker at this event in November 2012. This photo was taken of me with Rick and Jane following the excellent and informative discussion.
On February 23rd, I was at Davie St. and Bidwell St. collecting signatures for my nomination forms from residents of Vancouver-West End. It was a very successful afternoon with over 100 signatures gathered in just two hours, and a lot of interest and support. I plan on campaigning in my riding regularly so I can meet members of the community and learn about what issues are important to them!
