On May 12th we handed out over 200 pamphlets and had a fun time meeting many supporters, some of whom joined our team to help wave signs! Another awesome campaign day.

On May 11th our team waved signs and gave out pamphlets at the Denman and Davie St. intersection, right on English Bay. It was a bit rainy later on in the day but we held our signs high!

On May 10th we spent time at Burrard St. and Davie St., a very busy intersection that also hosts a beautiful community garden. Once again, the feedback was very positive and encouraging!

On May 9th we waved signs and gave out pamphlets at Robson St. and Denman St., and covered three of four corners with our signs - the NDP took the fourth corner - with a great response from passing traffic and pedestrians.

On May 8th all candidates were invited to host tables and meet residents in the West End Community Centre. We set up inside but because Vancouver has summer-like weather, we were all happy to get outside for some sign-waving, too!

On May 7th we had a big crew of volunteers and supporters at Davie and Bute, and the response from residents and passers-by was fantastic! It was a great day and we had a lot of fun.

On April 25th I was invited to participate in an All Candidate's Debate, hosted by Gordon Neighbourhood House. Five candidates took part, and there was a positive response to my presentation of the BC Green Party ideas.

On April 8th I was given an official tour of St. Paul's Hospital, joined by Vancouver City Councillor Adriane Carr, to learn about the challenges St. Paul's faces as the only downtown hospital in a space that's far too small. St. Paul's Hospital has been promised desperately-needed funding for many years a broken promise that hasn't been fulfilled.

On March 30th I was welcomed to Melriches Coffeehouse on Davie Street, where I was able to meet residents in the area and learn about what they would like to see addressed by the provincial government.

On March 28th I attended the Burgundy Luncheon Club, a weekly event hosted by Rick Peterson, to hear a presentation by Jane Sterk, leader of the BC Green Party. I was a speaker at this event in November 2012. This photo was taken of me with Rick and Jane following the excellent and informative discussion.

On February 23rd, I was at Davie St. and Bidwell St. collecting signatures for my nomination forms from residents of Vancouver-West End. It was a very successful afternoon with over 100 signatures gathered in just two hours, and a lot of interest and support. I plan on campaigning in my riding regularly so I can meet members of the community and learn about what issues are important to them!
